About this Position
Would you like to support top management with various analysis and lead a small team?
We are looking for a Corporate Controlling Analyst & Team Leader, a person who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on execution. In this role, you’ll split your time between operational excellence in the area of subsidiary controlling (financial analysis, risk reporting, company valuations) and leadership of a small team (performance management, talent development, building stakeholders‘ relationships).

What you´ll do
- Operational support of HQ (50%)
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of high-risk countries using macroeconomic and financial performance indicators;
- Valuation of Henkel’s investments in affiliated companies and subsidiaries;
- Consolidation and forecast of external shareholder‘s results to support financial decision-making;
- Collaborating with Headquarters and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives like capital measures and dividend planning & reporting;
- Helping transform reporting processes from MS Excel to modern tools like Power BI and MS Lists;
- Driving process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness;
- Collaborating with direct colleagues, allocating tasks and responsibilities within the team.
- Supervise and guide team performance (50%)
- Set clear goals, track progress, allocate tasks and organize work schedule to ensure successful service delivery in
- respective business or function areas;
- Clarify non-standard inquiries with respective counterparts, and actively support migration of processes to GBS Bratislava;
- Identify development areas for team members and provide opportunities for their professional growth;
- Facilitate communication – act as a communication bridge between management and the team;
- Encourage innovation – foster creativity and encourage team to seek process improvement possibilities, identify inefficiencies, and propose innovative solutions;
- Conduct regular performance assessments and provide constructive feedback to improve individual and team outcomes;
- Build a culture of collaborations, accountability, and motivation within the team.
What makes you a good fit
- Major in finance / accounting or a related field;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in controlling / reporting / finance;
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken);
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas);
- Knowledge of BI Tools and VBA is an advantage;
- Strong analytical thinking, data preparation and problem-solving skills with attention to detail;
- Ability to interpret financial and non-financial indicators, including the formulation of conclusions and recommendations;
- Great communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively across all levels;
- People management - ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team to achieve high performance and engagement.

Minimum salary: 2100 EUR gross (Of course, an overpayment is possible depending on the respective training, qualification and professional experience. The gross salary is based on these aforementioned criteria and is finally determined after the personal interview).
