What you’ll do
As a Customer Development Intern focusing on Walmart, you will:
- Gain hands-on experience working with one of the world’s largest retailers by analyzing real sales, shopper, and eCommerce data to uncover trends, solve business challenges, and influence strategy.
- Work alongside experienced professionals in sales, marketing, finance, and consumer insights to develop your skills, build your network, and contribute to high-impact initiatives for a global brand.
- Analyze sales, shopper, and market data to identify trends, uncover insights, and support key business decisions across Walmart’s brick-and-mortar and eCommerce channels.
- Support monthly business reviews and retailer meetings by preparing reports, dashboards, and presentation materials that highlight performance and growth opportunities.
- Conduct competitive and category research to understand Walmart's retail landscape and help shape strategies that improve product positioning and sales.
- Assist with eCommerce tracking and optimization, including digital shelf audits, content assessments, and online availability reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to support projects that drive efficiency, visibility, and customer impact.
What makes you a good fit
- A rising senior graduating in 2027 or rising 2nd year MBA student pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Marketing, Finance or Accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis
- Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
