#WorldCleanupDay unites millions of volunteers and organizations to tackle the global waste crisis. 🌍 And our colleagues are contributing around the world and throughout the year! 👏 ➡️ In Greece, in order to “Save our Hood”, you could find our colleagues cleaning up waste around Grecian shorelines. ➡️ In Serbia, we have organized 5 clean up events this year – both on land and under water – and removed over 2.4 tonnes of waste from the environment under the motto “I love the river, you too?” ➡️ In France, 20 colleagues gathered, and on average picked up 1kg of trash per person! ➡️ In the UK, 12 colleagues walked the former railway “Nickey Line”, gathering over 8 rubbish bags of waste. ➡️ In South Korea, Henkelaner walked the Han River Park in Seoul, picking up waste along the way. ➡️ In Germany, closer to our home base, colleagues cleaned up trash along one of Europe’s most important rivers, the Rhein. ➡️ In Vietnam, 10 Henkelaner picked up 75 kg of trash on Ho Coc beach in Vung Tau. …and there are many more activities around the world, and more to come!
